Outback Stations Safari for Caravans, Camper-Trailers & Motorhomes
Our inaugural Outback Stations Safari in 2022 was so popular we did it again! Now we hope to run another one in 2023. It's just the thing for gypsies who enjoy "slow travel" in their caravan, motorhome, 4WD or camper-trailer but also want to meet some new friends & have fun while they visit remote areas. You'll be traveling in convoy in the safe hands of a professional & award-winning tour company - independent but not alone. What a unique opportunity!
Over 10 delightful days we'll visit three of our favourite outback stations in the Midwest stopping for three nights at each. It's just enough time to relax & enjoy the wildflowers, check out the 'critters', meet the station owners, cozy up round a campfire, soak up the station vibe & learn about rural life. Each station is so looking forward to welcoming us that they have offered to provide a special personalized activity for our group as part of the package!
We'll visit Murchison House Station (near Kalbarri); historic Melangata Station (kinda near Yalgoo) & another station yet to be decided! We'll be treated to a bushel of Aussie bush experiences & a herd of country hospitality! There will be escorted walking tours; guided 4x4 'tag-along-tours', personal presentations, campfire chats & snacks, Potluck Suppers, "Open House" & visits to such iconic destinations as Kalbarri National Park, the Skywalk, Dalgaranga Crater & more.
The safari will be led by Jeremy Perks, former Tour Guide of the Year, qualified mechanic & Senior Towing Instructor & his partner, Jan Barrie.
When there are optional 4WD activities, if you don't have a suitable vehicle we'll help you 'hitch a ride' with someone from the group, or you can jump into the Gypsy vehicle with us!
This adventure is a fun & educational 'down-home' experience - a great way for city-slickers to see how our country cousins live. The package includes Pre-Departure Kit, Welcome Dinner, caravan sites, fun activities, park entry fees & the services of a professional guide.
We really hope you can join us on this unusual outback adventure!
If you plan to hire a 4WD Vehicle or a camper to join one of our tours, we recommend Allstar Campers, Red Sands 4WD & Campers or Totally Campers.
If you’re keen to hire a camper-trailer, contact Camper Trailers WA or West Oz Camper Trailers.
